Who is interested in doing something similar to BSA but with a bit of the military aspect? I am talking about CAP, or Civil Air Patrol. The officail USAF Auxilary. I recently joined this group and I am enjoying having extra homework to do (its really not that bad). There is Emergency Services training(more than just 1st AID), Areospace EDU(Heather, you might like this...), and there is leadership training. There are also encampments that you can goto for special training such as GSAR(Ground Search And Recue). We get to goto Air Force bases and airports doing glider and powered(Cessna) flights, and a whole lot of other cool stuff. For more information, please goto the CAP website at www.cap.gov. Or come to one of the Elgin Squadron meetings, held every Thursday evening at Elgin Community College in the Heritage Room from 7PM sharp to 9PM. Cadet Basic Joshua Slone
