1: the one that the "Amedeus" play and movie was written about: a fellow composer was mad at Mozart because Mozart was so much better than him, and disguised in a black cloak and mask, commisioned Mozart, who was sick, to compose the requiem. This over-worked Mozart and he died.
2: a stupid, egotistic earl or duke in Austria made Mozart compose it, setting a ridiculous deadline for it to be finished, which Mozart died in trying to meet, and then the earl tried to take the requiem as his own work.
3: Mozart was writing it for someone, and just naturally died from consumption.....no plot involved to either kill him, nor steal his music.
Historians are divided on which one is correct.....the 1st is the most dramatic, and lots of people back that one up, but it has the least amount of evidence backing it up.
I'm split on what I think!

Being a devout Mozartian, I have to say that the most likely story of his death is by eating some not fully cooked pork. About Mozart and his requiem, the most plausable story is of a count who wanted to pretend to be a composer and so bought mozart's piece to pass it off as his own, the one from Amadeus doesn't hold water, although to be honest Salieri did kill three men to advance himeself in the musical scene.

The only classical music worth listening to other than Mozart is that of the ballad of trippyshoe.

Sounds like someone's trying to capitalize on my compositions... I suppose that is a good thing for both of us, but I don't recall that being in the contract we had...

First of all it is David's Music, not mine, I have absolutly no musical talent. (which reminds me of a story about the King of Spain who was sooooo tone deaf that he had to have a servant tell him when the national anthem was playing so he knew when to stand up) David and I are willing to sell cds of his music, don't ask how I got into this deal, it is a lot of underhand powerplaying . Anyway we will offer a good price, but we don't know how many of these good prices it will cost per cd. Also available in mp3 cd, and audio.
