Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face, Great chieftain o' the puddin-race! Aboon them a' ye tak your place, Painch, tripe, or thairm: Weel are ye wordy of a grace As lang's my arm.
The groaning trencher there ye fill, Your hudies like a distant hill, Your pin wad help to mend a mill In time o' need, While thro' your pores the dews distil Like amber bead.
His knife see rustic Labour dight, An' cut ye up wi' ready slight, Trenching your gushing entrails bright, Like onie ditch; And then, O what a glorious sight, Warm-reeking, rich!
Beautiful isnt it? If you are Scottish (or claim to be) please post something on how beautiful Scotland is, how good haggis tastes, or the pleasant the midge is.
(Curse upon all midgies, cursed things)

I am a blond hair, blue eyed guy.....I am proud to be non SCOTTISH or IRISH.......I am proud to be a German.
I am not a Burned Haggis from Scotland, and I never will be.
My advice to a Haggis: Life is hard for you, I know. I recommend you live with the Mountain Sheep, and stay away from the Catholic/Protestant wars, because those wars can get uglier than Haggis Burns. Stay away from fire, matches, and pens, because when Haggis Burns, they write history.

American Indian?! REALLY? So, could I get a written statement about how terrible the reservation system is and how it's opressing you? Not too long, maybe two or three sentances? I'd be your best friend.

All we have to do is lower the blood quantums to 0% and I think we all qualify. . . . . . Judge our plan is to remove the blood quantums entirely, that said our evidence comes entirely from Native Americans, so it really cannot be refuted as their evidence is from "outsiders" therefore we automatically win the round as they have no evidence. Thank you, I am now open for cross examination and witty remarks. . . .

I am a bit Scottish. I think the name “Dinsmore” comes from Scotland. I can trace my line on my mother’s side strait back to a noble family of French Huguenots. They escaped the St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre and moved to Holland and eventually came to America. This French family came from Normandy and one of my ancestors was with William the Conqueror when he invaded England. Ultimately this line goes back to the Vikings who conquered Normandy.

My Celtic ancestry is as mixed Scotch and Irish as it gets. I'm Scotch, Irish, and Scotch-Irish or Ulster Irish, who were basically Scots who migrated to northern Ireland in the 17th century. My Irish ancestors moved here after the potato famine, and my scotch Irish ancestors moved here after the High Church Tories signed the "Test Act," which while ostensibly aimed at Catholics, persecuted Presbyterians as well.

I can trace my dad's line to Germany, England, Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, and Holland. Though some of my English ancestors lived in Jamaica for a while....., and my Mom's line to Ireland, England, Germany, Luxemburg, and a mysterious half-link to Israel.
On my dad's side, I've got one guy, John Triesten, all the way back to William the Conquerer.....He was Will C.'s standard bearer. The Saxons called him Thruston and the name stuck! In the same family line, there was a presbiterian bishop in America during the revolution by the name of Charles Thruston who is a grandfather o' mine....He's nick-named the "Fighting Parson of the Revolution" I find him quite amusing to read about!
Then there's the John Rogers back in the 1600's in Scotland who was burned at the stake for his religious veiws...... So I have a bizzare family history for sure!
