*has never watched a baseball game on TV in her life* *still loves the Sox* *is glad the Cubs will have that one victory to look back on when things get rough* *grins wickedly right back* ;D i'm thinking about becoming a fan of the Washington Politicians. Poor guys. No one loves them.

i'm thinking about becoming a fan of the Washington Politicians. Poor guys. No one loves them. Well, at least it's an improvement over the Sox.

President Bush’s team should name itself after an article of clothing like the White Sox did. They could be the “Red Ties”. At the last State of the Union Address all the people in Bush’s administration had red ties. I could be wrong, but I think even Condoliza Rize (sp???) had something like a red tie on.
I wonder what a Dean team would be like. With his enthusiasm, Howard Dean might make a good coach.
Sorry Lisa, I’ll return this thread to its original topic.
Aren’t the Sox terrible? Without question they’re some of the worst reprobates that ever spat tobacco over home plate!
There, that ought to put us back on the right track.

Does anyone know if there's a TV anywhere in Calvary church that we can use? The reason I ask is because I don't like to miss a single ballgame, and the baseball season starts DURING our speech tournament. Very inconsiderate of whoever planned it. (J/K)

(J/K) actually, some people cart around portable radios...and tune them to the game (if it's on)

Well, I still think "Junkie" is a rather unflattering expression. Apply it to football fans if you must, but not baseball fans.
