it would be neat for them to play, that way the title comes to Chicago no matter what! Although, I know it would come to the South Side NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO You remember the first civil war- blue vs. gray- north vs. south? The North won. ;D I would appreciate history repeating itself that bit of history anyway and BTW might I note that the cubs beat the sox in the season series!! HA HA

HA HA How do people decide which team to root for, since we live in the west of Chicago? Is it all what side of the UP West line you live on? If the Cubs do make it to the World Series against the Sox, I guess I know who would win ;D

Well, you see, the Sox let the Cubs win...the Sox actually are in first place in their division, so the let the Cubs have some wins to keep them in second place

HA HA *reluctantly hands over the season series trophy to David and Lisa* Yes, the Cubs beat the Sox 4-2, but guess what? I don't really care! Know why? The All-Star game is here! HOORAH!!!!! Besides, the Sox are going to win all their games after the All-Star break. And about the Civil War, I'll be happy to inform you that when the World Series arrives, we will be wearing black. Say Lisa, I really want Paul Konerko to be in the All-Star game, and you probably really want Aramis Ramirez. So here's the deal. If you haven't already cast your vote, you vote for Paul Konerko for AL (and Aramis Ramirez for NL) and I'll vote for Aramis Ramirez for NL (and Paul Konerko for AL). Deal?

If the Sox won 3, you would be jumping up and donw screaming! "The Sox Won! the Sox Won!" You don't care now? Bwa-haa-haa! The All-Star game is always interesting for Chicago. I guess we are on opposite sides even for this!

What time is it on? I haven't traditionaly watched it... I must confess, neither have I. This is only my second year as a baseball fan, and last year we were gone during the break. So I really don't know either. Speaking of baseball in general, here's an amusing quote I heard on ESPN from Tony Graffanino (he was on the Sox last year) regarding his team (KC Royals): lol, I feel sorry for a team like them; they're so bad. Back to the WSox, Jason, Tori, and other CWS fans, wasn't it cool the way they swept the Mariners to just take first for the AL Central? I mean, they pitched well the whole series (both teams) and the Sox came on top, took the lead from the Twins, and in addition the Cubs are 7 games back. Life is sweet!

Who won? (too bad you didn't post that like, say, 24 hours ago? ) Remember that year when it went into 12 innings but it still was a Tie?

Say, how much to people who chear for the Cubs/WHite Sox hate the other team?
So, if you like the White Sox, do you hope the Cubs lose or Visa-Versa?
I like them both, but the Cubs much better. I want the Cubs to win, but I would be happy if the Sox did really well too.
