it is freaky how fast people drive in canada. i guess since the currency rate in canada is alot lower than in the US, they think that if they get a ticket and have to pay $100, it is only like $60 in the US. what is also kinda weird is all along the highway they have signs that tell you what the fee is when you get a ticket.

The gas in Canada cost a fortune too!
At least around Niagra falls its like $7.99 a gallon!
And right now, the Canadian dollar is worth more!
Interesting note: A Canadian Gallon is 5 Quarts!

Here is a conversation between my mom and my cousin who's family recently moved from Philadelphia too Quebec. Mom: So, is it tricky for my your dad to drive with the different signs? Cousin: It doesn't seem to be. Mom: Has your dad gotten used to speed limits in km/h? (Note: My uncle doesn't waist time when he's on the road) Cousin: Umm, he still thinks it's mph.

Since I am talking about driving, I do have some experiences with my Avator... It has one pedal with two side. When I want to stop I just tap the reverse-pedal and I never have to change gears to go into Reverse... I floor the forward-pedal to go forward! Once I was driving a Golf Cart once with three kids on it in a narrow path between a steep drop and a corn field. When I wanted to turn around, I put the thing in reserve, and went straight into the corn field by a good two feet. I wanted to get out, so my foot naturally tapped the pedal that would cause me to go forward on the tractor, but instead, I kept on going backwards further and further. I pushed the gas harder and harder and went back further and further. I came out 20 feet down the path. Years ago, when we had a small ride-on in Texas, I was riding on my dad's lap when he was pulling into the shed. I was maybe 7, and trying to help, I pushed the gear to make it "stop." The whole mower instantly flung itself five feet in the direction of the back-wall. The fact that my dad has even concieved of letting me have a license is because he stopped it in time (and considering that ride after the wall was a chain-link fence, then a rough area, then another chain-link fenec, and then a 11' drop into a creek, I might not have been around to drive anyway... (OK, I Slightly exaggerated this story )

Yes, in all of Europe (I think) they drive on the right side of the road, except the UK, where it is left. It would be really weird to drive a car in England (my dad says he hits the curb often ) Never seen the Bourne Identity, so I have no idea which side of the road they drive on!

Is there any country they drive on the middle? I heard that in Iraq, even though they do drive on the right, everything is so crowded and everyone drives in the same direction at the same time that drivers don't even hesitate to drive in the left lanes or even on sidewalks!

Is there any country they drive on the middle? In the little land called Wheaton they often drive in the middle of the streets. At least they drive in the middle of the one way streets that seem to be so ubiquitous.

Upside down, then? Do most people think this is a hard area to drive in with all the traffic? Like going 60mpg on North Ave. with other cars coming at you at 60mph with a 36" gap? Who here has been in a wreck (when they were driving?)
