Who has a permit or has recently gotten a license? Does any one not like to drive? I really like driving with a stick shift. Does any one have any good Driver’s Ed stories or stories about learning to drive?
My driving instructor called the shoulder check a puppy check. He explained that one of his students forgot to do a shoulder check and almost ran over a little dog. Now whenever a student forgets to do the puppy check this instructor barks. I’m proud to say that he didn’t bark at me, but twice. It was always a little startling when he did that.

I havent gotten my liscense yet, but already I have been up to no good. My mom doesnt mind so much when I go manic, 20 in a residential? paaalease, try 40. The speed limit is always 10 mph too slow, always.
my driver's ed class was extremely boring, my mom even wanted me to take Plato's Republic along. For four weeks all they did was teach us what it is like to sit in traffic. "Tomorrow class we will learn what it is like to sit in traffic in snowy conditions"

check out these accident reports sent to insurance companies (the people were obviously trying to avoid paying for the damage )..... "An invisible car came out of nowhere, hit my car, and vanished into thin air." "The pedestrian jumped onto my car as I tried to swerve around him." "I was looking at my mother-in-law when my car went over the embankment."

Fellow Americans:
I am a young boy of 14. I do not have a permit or license yet, but have driven my Dad's car in the driveway. However, I wonder why I haven't driven it in recently. The last time I did this was, gosh....7 years ago! I wonder if I was more mature at 7 then at 14...(-I don't want any comments on this, because I know what your response to this will be.-)
Anyhow, my advice to you two years from now is this: "When I get my license stay off the road, and never come back."

We were allowed to bring food to the Driver’s Ed class I was in. The instructor said that once one of the kids took advantage of this privilege by having a four course steak dinner delivered to him in class.

I drive a liquid-cooled diesel, power steering, 4wd, and hydrolic transmission.
All right, it is a tractor!

I've had my liscence for a year now. I desperately miss the days when I could read while my mom drove me around town, and I never got stressed because of traffic or getting lost. I like the freedom I have, but that freedom came at a price.

I like the freedom I have, but that freedom came at a price. No kidding. The insurance is really bad. There is of course a great amount of responsibility too.
